Melanoma occurs most commonly in the choroid, but it may also develop in the iris or the ciliary body. Aqueous humour is a liquid produced by the ciliary body. The lens can change shape because it is held in position by the ciliary body. The ciliary body connects the choroid to the circumference of the iris.
