a type of small dog with a growth of long, soft hair on the top of its head and along its back. Some Chinese cresteds look as if they have no other hair on their body, and some have long, soft hair all over them:
They have a hairless Chinese crested.
His neighbour was walking her toy dog - a Chinese crested.
Their pet, a purebred Chinese crested, is a lapdog who is hairless except for the squiggly white mane on his head.
